Wondering what to pack for your child’s snack?
The list below includes a variety of snack suggestions to help you and your child make healthy choices when packing snacks for school. The list also includes some great idea for classroom celebrations, including birthdays!
Fruits such as:
Apple, oranges, peaches, pears, bananas, grapes, watermelon ,kiwi, cherries, raisins, fruit cups, applesauce and dried fruits
Veggies such as:
Carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and broccoliMany children enjoy veggies with a dip such as ranch dressing!
Other snacks:
Whole grain crackers, cheese, string cheese, graham crackers, popcorn, pretzels, trail mix, granola bars, pita chips, tortilla chips with salsa, yogurt and pudding
Healthy drink choices:
Milk, water, and 100% fruit juice
